Revealing a real estate portfolio of “Hemedti” in Dubai worth $1.7 million
Washington, February 24, 2026 – A recent investigation by The Sentry organization revealed on Tuesday an association between the leader of the Rapid Support Forces, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo ‘Hemeti’, and a real estate portfolio in the United Arab Emirates estimated at $1.7 million, according to recent property records. The UAE is the main supporter of the Rapid Support Forces that have been fighting the Sudanese army for about three years, as documented by UN and journalistic reports, with continuous denial from Abu Dhabi of these accusations. This investigation coincides with the imposition by the UN Security Council of sanctions on four leaders of the Rapid Support Forces, including Abdel Rahim Dagalo, freezing their assets and accounts and imposing an international travel ban due to their involvement in threatening Sudan’s security and stability, and committing serious human rights violations. The investigation revealed that Hemeti purchased three residential apartments in the eastern suburbs of Dubai near Al Minhad Air Base in March 2020 before transferring ownership of these properties to Brodigos Real Estate Supervision Services Company registered in the UAE in July 2022. It pointed out that current and former directors and owners of Brodigos are linked to other companies subject to sanctions due to their connection with the Rapid Support Forces, where currently the company is owned entirely by Abu Zar Abdul Nabi Habib Allah Ahmed (known as Abu Zar Habib), who was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department in 2025 as he owned Capital Tab Group which provided funds and military equipment for support…
